Cabernet Sauvignon was one of the first varieties planted on our vineyard in 1970 (the other was Riesling). Guy Darling had a particular passion for Bordeaux varieties and would go on to plant Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot in our beloved ‘Bordeaux Block’, where the fruit for this wine comes from.
Fermented and aged in French oak; this wine will develop well with time in the bottle.
Cool climate style - incredibly smooth and very fruit driven.
