A lighter to medium bodied red (similar to a Pinot Noir). Our family has been growing Gamay since 1998 and we're big fans. We tend towards the Cru Beaujolais style (rather than the high acid, low tannin, candy fruited Beaujolais Nouveau), with extended maceration allowing colour and tannin to develop.
The 2022 was hand picked, wild ferment with 25% whole bunch.
